Book Week Information1 March 2022 (by Thelma Crawford (Principal)) |
Dear Parent/ Carer,
There are lots of activities going on in school this week, to celebrate World Book Day. The children may dress up on Friday as a character from a favourite story. There is no competition element to dressing up, Miss Brown has organised a competition to make a puppet (P1-4) or design a Wanted Poster (P5-7). Please don’t put yourselves under time pressure to design and make a costume, nor feel financial pressure to buy anything new, any dressing up is absolutely fine. If the children do not want to dress up, they should wear school uniform. School uniform is a yellow polo shirt and green sweatshirt, both with the school logo; and grey skirt, trousers or pinafore, black, green or grey socks or tights and black shoes. Leggings and trainers can be worn on PE days, but are not part of normal school uniform.
Enjoy lots of reading this week!
